Our Objectives

Our values guide us in being mindful of other’s vulnerabilities, generating a loving, caring, ‘natural’ appreciation of safeguarding and support needs. We create safe spaces for exploration, questioning. For sharing great and maybe not so great experiences.

We spend time carefully looking and listening to find the best ways to encourage the growth of self worth, self esteem and self confidence, essential in developing social communication skills and helping to ensure wider inclusion.

We creatively and considerately secure the resources that support our mission and uphold our values. Whilst valuing people above all, as wonders of God’s creation, we also treat our equipment, services and systems as precious gifts, that exist as a result of generous donations, doing all we can to put them to best use.

Our programmes and projects help all those involved to grow and know their own identity, to have confidence as equals and able to help others in turn. We draw out, and on each other’s skills and gifting, acknowledging that we all have different roles and parts to play within our community and wider society.

We create and maintain environments that are both welcoming and accessible. Facilitate activities and events that stimulate, motivate and encourage. We come together as equals before God walking in friendship together.
