All are welcome to our groups where we join in a wide variety of activities. However, something that has become increasingly obvious through our conversations and activities, is the struggle that many with learning difficulties have with the demands of technology.

To access or to get the best out of a number of services a multitude of apps are required on a reasonably specified device. Not all of these are particularly intuitive, and some are simply confusing and misleading. However, once the useable ones are installed, they can lead to an easier path to inclusion in many things.
Like all gateways technology portals are potentially two way and unguarded, unmanaged doorways can leave anyone vulnerable. However, the lower the level of a person’s knowledge, competence and understanding, the greater the risk. Once someone has been a victim, they are likely to exclude themselves from what is perceived as hostile territory.
